Plein Air Frames
The “Plein Air” style of frames developed, in part, as a consequence of the post impressionist tradition of ‘direct’ or outside painting.
I use this type of frame for my Plein Air work because it has a wider surface to it, about 3". Many of the frames shown with my work come from this company and others like it that can easily be found on the internet.
